[ Identified! here ] - Artist/Web Designer James Franssen captured in numerous photos the spirit and work of several capable rock art practitioners in Eugene, Oregon, who were "balancing for peace" -- so, we might think, are they all, as is James with his work and art. The unidentified young woman seen working here is one of the few female practitioners yet found. Any clues about her identity would be gladly received.

[ Identified! here ] - James also photographed a male balancer at the same Eugene event. His skill is evident, but his name still unknown. Any hints?

Although Daryl Maddeaux is known to have done extensive rock and stone balancing sculpture along English Bay in Vancouver, this image by Brendon Wilson more closely resembles Kent Avery, recently identified on an Other Balancers page.

Was Daryl in Balboa, California? If not, who was it?

New - Mr. Maddeaux again? In Missouri?!. Judging by the area code and the coffee franchise marquee on one of the pictures in the set, that must have been where this photo posted on yonkis.com (a Mexican semi-adult site found while searching for "rock balancing", it is claimed) was originally taken. The baseball cap is distinctive. Were you there?

Several artists have done rock and stone balance pieces in the mountain lakes of Switzerland and Germany. Professor David Taylor of St. Louis found this balancer working in Zurich, but he was too far to hail a greeting. Do you know? Possibility: Üli Grass.
