Malcom Bisiker has designed and produced a new game, RUKSHUK™ - The Game of Rock Balancing, which could appeal to every visitor to this site and to many more people across the world. Players use selected small, colored stones (provided) to build rock balancing sculptures mimicking naturally-ocurring amazing rock phenomena from around the planet. Racing the clock, they try to score as many points as they can matching the formation on their game card - and to keep their own miniature formation standing.

The suggested "Strategy & Tips" include some concepts likely familiar to visitors to this site - "Take a good look at the angles and surfaces of your game rocks before you start building," and "Create a stable foundation" surely come as no surprise. But further hints for successful play abound, and the carefully-thought-out (and obviously well-tested) pieces, patterns, and point system promise an experience certain to be "addictive" for all players, young and old alike.

The rock-on-rock-on.com webmaster has now played the game and added his review to a Guest Sales Gallery.

Now sold in stores in Canada (the name reflects the Inuit Inukshuk tradition) - and soon to be distributed internationally - game sets in an attractive, sturdy box and with nicely printed game cards, timer, scorepad, and brightly-colored rocks in a durable bag can be ordered directly through the rukshuk™ website (www.rukshuk.com).

"By trying to promote awareness of the world's natural beauty as well as the diversity of its cultures, the Canadian creators of Rukshuk hope to help spread the most universal idea that this big rock is our only home, and we all need to work together to preserve it!" - from the rukshuk™ site
